We are currently working with a client that has a series of connected portals that have one centrally managed set of logins. By doing this they are able to make targeted DNN installs with different audiences with in a managed network of users. The client is able to effectively segment up workflow, content management, functionality and security among different DNN installs. Each DNN install can be customized with appropriate modules, skinning, sub-portals and security. We have built significant custom tools based on this architecture including some stand alone apps that tab into the overall integrated security. DNN can very much be extended for different purposes in the corporate enterprise.Tags:
